GOOD CAUSE

Childhood and close friends Nicolas Delie & Korneel Warlop will run the New York City Marathon on Sunday, November 3rd, the world's largest race with 65,000 participants. They are part of a 30-member Cliniclowns delegation from Belgium, aiming to successfully complete the mythical 42.2 km through the surreal scenery of The Big Apple. Participating is more important than winning, as the money they raise through the sale of the new 'Foxy Times Gin' goes directly to Cliniclowns vzw.

Cliniclowns vzw counts on the runners who participate in the New York City Marathon in their name for financial support of their work. 'For each runner, we have committed to raising a minimum amount that will go entirely to their operations. Costs related to the trip itself (plane tickets, hotels, marathon entry fee, etc.) are, of course, paid out of our own pocket,' says Korneel Warlop.

Because the two sons of Nicolas and Annelies have already been able to experience the services of Cliniclowns, they realize the important work these people do. 'For that reason, we want to strongly support the organization. To achieve that goal, we had to think bigger than just the traditional donations. The result is Foxy Times Gin,' says Nicolas Delie.
